Volvo TR701-4
Produced from 1935 to 1937
The Volvo TR701-4 was a series of taxicabs produced between 1935 and 1937. The name “TR” stands for “trafikvagn,” which means taxicab in Swedish. The Volvo TR701-4 was known for its durability and was almost immune to wear and tear. These vehicles were the successors to the purpose-built TR671-679 taxicabs. The corresponding standard versions were designated as PV656-659.
